The rumour mongers were really up to some nautanki when they spread the word about Ayushmann Khurrana’s untimely and shocking death. It took the actor himself to clarify that he’s alive and kicking.
The news of the Vicky Donor star’s death was made online by Global Associated News, which represents fakeawish.com notorious for creating death hoaxes of celebrities. According to the report, Ayushman, the “novice snowboarder was vacationing at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland with family and friends. Witnesses indicate that Ayushmann Khurrana lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed.”
The report went on to allege that Ayushmann was “air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital, however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash.”
The hoax did create some panic online among the fans of the actor.
To scotch the hoax, Khuranna took to Twitter.
“I have been hearing some bizarre rumors about my demise. RIP rumor mongers. Thanks,” the actor clarified. He is presently believed to be in Mumbai.
