Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Meera Chopra has been trying to get a break in Bollywood for about a year now. Finally, things have started falling in place for her. She has been signed for the third part of Vikram Bhatt’s 1920. However, her Bollywood debut won’t be 1920 but Satish Kaushik’s Gang Of Ghosts.
It’s said that Meera was supposed to start shooting for the third part of 1920 as her debut film, but will now start working in Satish Kaushik’s film Gang of Ghosts because Vikram Bhatt’s horror flick will take some time to roll.
Meera had earlier refused Satish Kaushik’s film as she had already committed to 1920 third part which was to be shot at the same time as Kaushik’s film. But now as Vikram Bhatt’s project has got delayed by a couple of months, Meera can give time to Gang of Ghosts
Meera Chopra confirms the news to a tabloid, and says that she is happy being cast in two different films, which are distinct from each other.
The starlet even talks about her connection with Priyanka Chopra. “Priyanka and I belong to the same family but we are not really close. I am very proud of what she had done in her career without having a godfather,” Meera is quoted as saying.
As for now Meera Chopra is looking forward to her Telugu film releasing this Friday, and will soon start working in Satish Kaushik’s movie.
