|Finally, a Hindi film for the Telugu superstar! Prince Mahesh Babu is gearing up for his long-awaited Bollywood debut. The actor has agreed to do a film with director duo of Go Goa Gone -- Krishna DK and Raj Nidumoru.
Mahesh Babu, known for his good looks and charismatic personality, was waiting for a right Bollywood project to come his way. While he has done a Hindi ad for an aerated drink in the past, the actor struggles a bit with his Hindi. Yet, many Bollywood producers were keen to rope in the star, associated with several superhits like Pokiri (made in Hindi as Wanted), Khaleja, Dookudu and Business Man, to name a few.
Director Raj Nidumoru has confirmed the film with Mahesh Babu and is quoted as saying, “We are doing a film with Mahesh Babu. We were in talks with him since six months.”
According to Raj, the film is not a remake of any South film, and belongs to action-comedy genre, something the fans of Mahesh Babu totally adore. Sources claim that the makers are in search of a leading lady to be cast opposite the Telugu star, and are open to having either a known actress or a newcomer, whoever fits the bill.
The untitled film is likely to be made in two languages -- Hindi and Telugu, and the shooting of the film will begin by the end of this year as Mahesh Babu is currently busy with Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
After the good run of Go Goa Gone, Krishna DK-Raj Nidumoru are planning to direct more films. They are already on board for Saif Ali Khan’s next production starring Ileana D'Cruz, and now a film with Telugu star Mahesh Babu.
