While the movie buffs enjoyed listening to, and watching, the upbeat, vibrant tracks of Raanjhanaa, they have a little clue about the hardships faced by the actors and the crew during the making of the song. Watch here the shooting of the title track of Raanjhanaa in the freezing cold Banaras city.
Composed by A R Rahman, the title track is an incredible composition. According to Dhanush, the song is a situational track which comes at a point in the film where it elevates the movie. Sonam Kapoor loved the track for its tempo and found it instantly likeable. When Sonam heard the music of the film for the first time, she was in complete awe of A R Rahman. Recalling the experience, Sonam says Rahman is a “god’s child”.
The title track is shot on the banks of River Ganges during winters, and it was freezing cold on the sets, admits dance director Caesar and even Dhanush. The track, however, has an allusion of spring with the colourful ambience. Sonam Kapoor even praised Caesar for his work and dedication.
In the video, the audiences can even see director Anand L. Rai, Swara Bhaskar and Zeeshan Ayub talking about the music of the film.
