|Still bereaving her father’s death, Priyanka Chopra is back on the sets of her forthcoming Mary Kom biopic. The actress resumes shooting from today, June 17.
The actress missed her loving dad on the father’s day, and tweeted “Daddy's lil girl... Always n forever”. But being a strong individual, she is not letting the emotional setback take a toll on her work.
The actress canceled all her shoots and commitments to be with her sick dad since June 4. Her beloved father passed away last week on June 10, battling cancer.
Priyanka currently has only Mary Kom biopic for which she is training hard. A special mahurat has been planned at Filmistan today as she starts working post her father’s demise.
“Priyanka shared a very close bond with her father. He always wanted to see her successful, and that's what has kept her motivated and focussed on her work,” a source tells a tabloid.
As per sources, the film's producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali even insisted Priyanka Chopra to take some more time off, but she assured him she was ready to face the camera.
In the process to become Mary Kom, the actress has already completed her intensive training with the Olympic trainer Dr. Christy Halbert, due to which she even lost oodles of weight. After shooting three weeks for the film, the actress will move to Manali for the next schedule.
