Aishwarya Rai’s last film before she took the maternity break from Bollywood was with Hrithik Roshan. Looks like her comeback film too will be with the handsome hunk.
Buzz is that Karan Johar is keen to rope in Aishwarya Rai in one of his productions and we won’t be surprised if it is the Agneepath director Karan Malhotra’s next project titled Shuddhi. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead and is still without its leading lady.
There was a rumour that either Kareena Kapoor or Anushka Sharma was tipped to pair with Hrithik in the flick, but Karan Malhotra himself denied it.
Meanwhile, Karan Johar has been looking to work with Aishwarya Rai for quite some time now. There was a strong buzz late last year that Johar had approached Ash and Abhishek Bachchan for a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1982 film Bemisaal, but no progress was made on that front.
In January 2013, one again heard of K Jo’s plan to sign Aishwarya for a production, but nothing came of it as well.
Now that Ash has hinted that she’s looking forward to green-light a couple of Bollywood projects, Karan Johar, who’s been waiting in the queue for quite some time, can fancy his chance, even though the film won’t be directed by him.
