Akshay Kumar as the underworld don Shoaib is happy being a villain until Imran Khan as Aslam rains down on his love parade with Jasmine, played by Sonakshi Sinha. Catch the new trailer of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara.
The dialogue-heavy trailer has Akshay Kumar extolling the virtues of a hero and then summarily admitting that he himself loves to be but one. He’s happy being a villain.
“Hero marne ke baad swarg jaata hai, aur villain jeete je swarg paata hai,” Akshay wisecracks.
And what’s his idea of ‘swarg’? Women, wine, money and power. He coerces a married lady (Sophie Choudry) into bed with him. He’s smitten with the young starlet Jasmine (Sonakshi Sinha) and wins her over with his adulation and money.
All’s well, until the ‘hero’, Imran Khan, grows out of his shadow and takes him on, all in the name of his love for Jasmine.
Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara looks an interesting love triangle but one given to too much dialogue baazi. Everyone seems to have a dialogue for every occasion and emotion. Sample this: Imran Khan analogizes his friendship with the dialogue, “Humari dosti tyre aur tube jaisi hai. Hawa teri nikalti hai aur baith main jaata hoon”.
The Milan Luthria-directed film hit theatres on August 15. Looking forward to it?
