Directed by Ahishor Solomon, the movie is said to be a revenge drama, loaded with action and chase fights, like it was in A Wednesday. The trailer opens with a funeral scene juxtaposed with a sequence showing the first holy communion of a little girl. Actor Naseeruddin Shah also appears in the funeral scene, and while the viewers try to find a connection between the funeral, the girl and Naseerudin, the focus shifts to Randeep Hooda, who looks menacing, and equally dashing in the trailer.
The movie is about a mysterious death that unfolds a web of secrets -- the deeper one goes, the bloodier it gets, declares the trailer. In the fast-paced promo that runs for more than a minute, it’s hard to figure out who is investigating the mysterious death -- Randeep Hooda, Naseeruddin Shah or someone else.
The movie’s introduction reads, “Within every saint there is a beast hidden and behind every beast there is a story. Few circumstances in life can bring out the beast within you. The thin line which separates the saint and the beast, the good and evil is going to be blurred and broken forever.”
And the intro echoes with the dialogue that Randeep Hooda utters at the end of the trailer: Duniya ka sabse khatarnak janwar, insaan hota hai.
So, who is the saint or the beast? The movie, touted as an edge-of-the-seat thriller, is releasing September 13. It also stars Shernaz Patel, Sharat Saxena and the foreign hottie Elena Kazan. Catch the trailer here:
