Come November, Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan will resume the shooting of director Siddharth Anand’s film Bang Bang.
The film’s shooting schedule was thrown off track after a head injury that Hrithik sustained while filming an action sequence got worse and turned into a clot. The superstar had to undergo a brain surgery in July and as the doctors advised him a few months of rest and relaxation, the shooting was postponed.
Now, it has been confirmed by Hrithik Roshan that he’s recovering fast and will resume the shoot by November.
“I am doubly charged and looking forward to resuming my amazing journey with the team of Bang Bang from mid November. We promise to give our best to making the film one of the finest ever,” the 39-year-old actor said in a statement.
The November schedule is aptly planned as before that Hrithik would be busy promoting his upcoming superhero film Krrish 3 which comes out on November 3, the Diwali day.
Meanwhile, the release date of Bang Bang has been shifted from July next year to October.
“Given Hrithik's revised schedule, we are now resuming our shoot in mid-November and have decided to lock the four-day Dusshera weekend of 2014. So we will come all guns blazing on October 2, and the date will coincide with the country's festive season,” Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios, producers of the film, is quoted as saying.
