Randeep Hooda is an unconventional actor and it shows in his choice of roles, and the movies he has appeared in. He will next be seen in the thriller John Day, which also stars veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah.
Since ‘John Day’ is slated to release on 13 September, the unavoidable promotions of the film have kicked off; Randeep Hooda went to promote his film amongst the youth at St. Xavier's College’s Malhar Festival in Mumbai.
Not only is Mr. Hooda a decent actor, he seems to be pretty good with words as well. Taking over the microphone, he said: “You all are so beautiful, you should be in movies...I am feeling a bit underconfident here in your presence.”
He added: “John Day is a drama-thriller...There is a very thin line between good and bad and I guess all of you will be making those choices very soon; I hope you choose the good.”
The crowd started screaming their lungs out when the actor described his role in ‘John Day’. He said: “I play a mother****er in the movie....but this is journey of redemption and I hope you guys go and enjoy the entertainment we have put in the movie. Hope you have a good time...The energy here is awesome; I wish I was in college.”
Well, while he wishes he was in college, aspiring actors performing at the college festival must be wishing they were in movies! Funny world.
