|Sanjay Dutt’s stay at Pune's Yerawada Central Jail will give a rare chance to his fellow inmates to see him dancing. The actor is going to be a star attraction at a cultural programme, organized by the jail authorities.
As per reports, the actor, who is serving his three-and-a-half year jail sentence, will participate in a play along with his fellow inmates, as a part of a fundraiser on September 26. The two-hour show is a yearly event organized by the jail authorities, and will be held at a theatre in the city.
At the event, Sanjay Dutt will not only be a part of the play; he will enthrall the audience with his dance moves as well. The actor is going to perform the superhit song, Lungi Dance, from Chennai Express, directed by his friend Rohit Shetty. Wondering will he wear a lungi too while dancing to the hit track!
Sanjay Dutt has even requested Rohit to direct a film for him once he is out from the jail. Sanjay’s wife Maanyata Dutt has even met Rohit and discussed the matter.
When Sanjay came to know that Rohit Shetty has indeed decided to work with him, the actor wrote a special thank you note to the director. It’s said that though Rohit, currently basking in the glory of Chennai Express, has no time for the coming two years, he has committed to do a movie for Sanjay as soon as he wraps up his other projects. By that time, Sanju’s prison sentence will also get over.
Sanjay and Rohit have worked together in the film All The Best.
