Since the super-success of films like Dabangg and Ek Tha Tiger, Karan Johar has expressed his wish to work with Salman Khan. Now, we hear that he is finally set to rope in the superstar for his next production.
Things are still in initial stages but Salman looks as good as finalized for Karan Johar’s next production, slated to roll next year.
The move is seen as a big departure for Karan who had not worked with Salman after directing him in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in 1998. Since then every film Karan directed had Shahrukh Khan in the lead role, save for Student Of The Year, which was co-produced by SRK’s home banner.
We are awaiting the confirmation of Karan Johar’s production with Salman Khan. Meanwhile, we hear that the filmmaker is headed to the US to write the script for his next directorial venture.
The last few months have seen Karan Johar keeping extremely busy with not just the TV show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6', but also acting in director Anurag Kashyap’s next film Bombay Velvet with Ranbir Kapoor.
KJo is also looking forward to return with his show 'Koffee With Karan'. The new season will begin with an episode with not Shahrukh Khan, but Salman Khan.
