Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest movie ‘Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram-Leela’ has hit the jackpot at the box office. After a good opening weekend, the film has retained momentum during the weekdays.
The film, starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, has mostly come under praise from the critics, save a few. It got off to an excellent start on Friday and showed steady growth throughout the weekend to register a domestic collection of Rs. 52.50 crore net in the first three days.
Monday often sees a big fall in the collections of films, but Ram-Leela held fort and minted Rs. 8.75 crore net collection from the Indian market on that day.
Tuesday saw a very marginal decline to Rs. 8.15 crore, as per early estimates. In a nutshell, it can be said that Ram-Leela has passed the weekdays test with flying colours.
The total five-day collection of the film stands at an estimated Rs. 69.40 crore net, which is an excellent figure.
