Shahrukh Khan’s next Raees will have the superstar in a new look. Hollywood make-up artists will be roped in for SRK in the movie which will be produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
It’s learnt that for Shahrukh Khan, who reportedly plays a Gujarati don in the movie, a team of Hollywood make-up artistes will be flown down. Farhan and his team want to try out different looks for the star, but the final call will be of Shahrukh. Since his character has shades of grey, a new look would justify his on-screen persona.
Talking about the desired look for SRK in Raees, sources claim that the look test will not just be restricted to different hair styles, but there will also be experiments with eyebrows, beards and scars. Also, there will be no use of prosthetics for Shahrukh Khan in the film. Farhan Akhtar is looking forward to finalize a talented make-up team from Hollywood soon.
In fact, director Rahul Dholakia has already travelled to the US once for a round of discussions with one of Hollywood’s top make-up team. “Meanwhile the makers are doing their homework so that they can present him (Shahrukh Khan) with some look tests,” a source is quoted as saying.
Raees is set in Gujarat and will also have Farhan Akhtar in a pivotal role. In the movie, SRK plays a bootlegger while Farhan essays a cop.
Shahrukh Khan will soon start shooting for Raees as he has almost completed Farah Khan’s Happy New Year.
