Top honours were reserved for the film '12 Years A Slave' at the 2014 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) held in London.
Actors Chiwetel Ejiofor and Cate Blanchett took home the leading actor and actress award, respectively, at the 2014 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards held here Sunday.
Cate Blanchett received the trophy for her role of a rich Manhattan socialite in Woody Allen's "Blue Jasmine" and Chiwetel Ejiofor won the award for his performance in "12 Years A Slave", reports mirror.co.uk.
Blanchett dedicated her win to Philip Seymour Hoffman, who died earlier this month in New York, calling him "a continual profound touchstone".
The best film award went to "12 Years A Slave" and outstanding British film trophy went to "Gravity" for which Alfonso Cuarón got the best director award.
