|After delivering films like Force, Shootout At Wadala and Madras Cafe, John Abraham will yet again be seen in a full-on action avatar in his next Rocky Handsome.
The movie will be directed by his good friend Nishikant Kamath, who has earlier directed the Johnny boy in Force. Here’s some interesting dope on Rocky Handsome.
The move is an official remake of South Korea’s highest grossing film of 2010, The Man From Nowhere. The sleek and stylish action-thriller follows the journey of a lone crusader, who starts a fight against the drug mafia when the only person he cares for, a seven-year-old girl, is taken from him, along with her mother.
No prizes for guessing what role John Abraham is going to play in the movie. The actor who looked all beefed up for Force will sport a lean look in this one. According to John Abraham, his director has envisioned him as the “lean killing machine” in this one.
Talking about the movie, co-producer Sunir Kheterpal tells a daily, “It's a universal story and its USP is the emotional connect between the protagonist and the child. We bought the rights and took it to John who loved it, so did Nishi.”
The movie will go on the floors this May in Goa.
John is currently busy with the shoot of Welcome Back.
