Sanjay Dutt’s cute three-year-old son Shahraan is making his acting debut with father’s home production Hasmukh Pighal Gaya. The little boy will be seen in a song that is also picturized on Amitabh Bachchan.
Sanjay Dutt may not be available to look after the production work, but his wife Maanyata Dutt is doing the needful. Major portions of the movie Hasmukh Pighal Gaya have been shot in and around Mumbai. A special song with Amitabh Bachchan has also been canned, and Shahraan is going to be a part of the same track.
It’s learnt that the song Kisi Ki Muskuraton Pe Ho Nisar, originally from Raj Kapoor’s film ‘Anari’, it will be shown twice in this film: once with Shahraan and debutant actor Armaan Ralhan, and then again with Amitabh Bachchan featuring in it.
How did Shahraan come into the picture? According to the choreographer Ahmed Khan he needed a small baby for the song and Maanyata was more than happy to let them shoot with Shahraan. “After all, it is Sanju’s first home production. We were shooting in town and she brought him along all the way from the suburbs,” Ahmed Khan is quoted as saying.
Amitabh Bachchan not just appears in the song, but is also doing a pivotal role in the film. Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt will also be seen in cameo roles in the movie.
Hasmukh Pighal Gaya is a satire that looks at the hottest day in Mumbai. The film has been helmed by first-time director, Sejal Shah. Sanjay Dutt being the producer saw the rushes when he was out on parole, and loved it.
