There’s no loser in the clash between Tiger Shroff and Rajinikanth at the box office. Both Heropanti and Kochadaiiyaan have fared very well in the opening weekend.
At last, the lull of the last few weeks has ended at the box office. Fans thronged in droves to watch Rajinikanth’s awaited and delayed epic Kochadaiiyaan down south. The film, starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone, raked in Rs. 30 crore gross at Indian box office.
Footfalls came in for Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s debut film Heropanti as well. After an opening day collection of Rs. 6.63 crore net, the film by director Sabbir Khan dipped marginally on Saturday with Rs. 6.42 crore net. Sunday saw a huge rise in the collection to Rs. 8.28 crore.
The opening weekend collection of Heropanti stands at Rs. 21.33 crore net at Indian box office.
