|Salman Khan is not game for masala capers only but also wants to do meaty roles, and that’s the reason the superstar has teamed up with the Raanjhanaa director Aanand L. Rai. Doesn’t it look a terrific combo?
Aanand L. Rai is currently working on the sequel of Tanu Weds Manu, but has simultaneously started working on his next which will star the one and only Salman Khan. It’s learnt that the actor has agreed in principle to play the male lead and he might also co-produce the film.
“I have a story that's waiting to be told. The setting maybe a small city but the story is big. It's a massive project and I want everything to fall into place,” Anand is quoted as saying about his dream project.

Aanand and Salman have already met and a series of meetings followed soon to work out the modalities. Post the success of Tanu Weds Manu and Raanjhanaa, producers want to team up with Ananad L. Rai as his stories strike a chord with youths.
Like his previous hits, the Salman Khan-starrer too will be a love story set in a small town. The filmmaker has bigger plans for this project. The director has roped in Hollywood VFX expert George Murphy of Forrest Gump, Matrix Reloaded, Jurassic Park and King Kong fame. Aanand's team has even started scouting for locations.
