Celebrities have responded differently to Preity Zinta’s allegations against former boyfriend Ness Wadia during an IPL match on May 30.
Preity Zinta has filed an FIR alleging Ness Wadia of using physical force against her, grabbing her arm without consent and using offensive language against her in public. These set of allegations have drawn starkly different responses from celebdom.
Shahrukh Khan is cautious in his response. He told reporters at an event, “It’s a personal issue. It’s an issue she has brought up and I assume it will be dealt legally. As a friend of hers, I will just talk to her.”
Salman Khan, on the other hand, was totally evasive when asked to respond to the Preity Zinta-Ness Wadia quarrel at the Kick trailer launch. Salman told the reporter, “Aap galat jagah par hain…Only you are interested in that question. The others here have come to know more things about Kick.”
Perhaps sensing that she’d been too harsh, Tavleen toned down in the next tweet and clarified, “Clarification: in a country with vile, daily crimes against women it is wrong for privileged women to file trivial cases.”
Tavleen Singh has since been trolled on social media for her comments against Preity.
Meanwhile, Preity Zinta’s lawyer has clarified that the actress hasn’t charged Ness Wadia of sexual molestation but of outraging her modesty by aggressive physical and verbal behavior.
