Hardly had she got her Hindi pronunciations right that Katrina Kaif is ready to tune her vocal chords and croon a song or two in Hindi.

Yes, believe it or not, but the enigmatic beauty who has reached the top spot despite her pidgin Hindi will now sing for a children’s album by none other than the Oscar-winner composer A R Rahman.

The album would reportedly feature jingles and rhymes.

Though Katrina was to feature in a music video of the album, but given her rising popularity among masses, especially kids, the idea was tipped to have her croon a song. And not just any song, but a song in Hindi.

Ideally, Katrina would have loved to sing in English, but she’s looking forward to the challenge of crooning in Hindi.

“Singing in English would've been a convenient challenge. But I'd rather take the uncomfortable route,” she is quoted as saying.

The album will be released next year.

Incidentally, Katrina has also delivered her dialogues in chaste Hindi in director Prakash Jha’s film Rajneeti.
