No exclusive coverage for Shilpa Shetty’s wedding
Turns down a hefty amount

She is very spiritual and doesn’t want any sort of negative energy to be there on her wedding. So, Shilpa Shetty has said no to a staggering deal of around 75,000 pounds to sell her wedding pictures.

UK’s Hello magazine is keen to get the exclusive coverage of her wedding and approached Shilpa for it, but the actress is adamant and has said a sure no. As Shilpa’s friend told a tabloid, “It’s the first time that an Indian actress has been offered so much money for coverage of an event. This is more than what Aishwarya Rai was offered for her wedding.”

Shilpa is a celebrity in UK and Raj Kundra is also an industrialist based in London. So the magazine was interested in covering their wedding but some of the conditions of the contract were unacceptable. As per the sources, “One of the clauses in the contract offered by the international magazine was that no other photographers would be allowed at the event. Also they didn’t want any of the guests to carry their cell phones in case someone leaked the pictures to other media. And Shilpa wasn’t comfortable with both these conditions.”

It’s a big day for Shilpa and also a very “sacred and beautiful occasion” and thus she doesn’t want media to become a spoiler in the wedding. That was also the reason why she refused to get wed on Raj’s plush 10 million-pound mansion at Surrey in UK - to avoid paparazzi.

It’s a private knotty affair for Shilps.
