Shilpa Shetty marries Raj Kundra

Shilpa and Raj exchange vows in a close-knit family affair

Actress Shilpa Shetty exchanged wedding vows with Raj Kundra in a close-knit family affair in Khandala on Sunday. Shilpa was clad in a burgundy and red sari designed by Tarun Tahiliani.

Raj, sporting a maroon sherwani with golden embroidery and a turban, arrived in a chariot decorated with flowers and drawn by two horses from Amrit Villa, located about five minutes away from Bawa Villa, where the wedding was held.

As per tradition, he was holding a sword in his hand and his face was veiled by a sehra (string of pearls).

Sunday's wedding was the climax of the two-day festivities that included a sangeet ceremony on Saturday night. A reception is to be held in Mumbai on the 24th of November.
