The folks in tinsel town are giving a new meaning to the epithet Big B - Big Bachcha. Wonder what moniker they’ll coin for Aishwarya Rai who’s turning into an old woman for director Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s film Action Replay.

While the 67-year-old Amitabh Bachchan took a backward somersault to play a 12-year-old kid suffering from progeria in Paa, his 35-year-old bahurani is taking a leap forwards and will be seen as an old lady in a few portions of Shah’s movie, starring Akshay Kumar as the male lead.

The movie is Shah’s unique venture as it tells the story backwards, that is the plot progresses backwards in time.

And to transform into an old woman Ash has had to patiently sit for long and tedious make-up sessions that take from 4-6 hours for every shoot.

To give Ash a new makeover, Shah has roped in make-up expert Paul Pattison who won an Oscar for the Mel Gibson movie ‘Braveheart’ in 1996. He was also the key hair stylist and make-up artist for ‘Mission Impossible 2’.

Vipul Shah says Ash’s transformation into an old lady will surprise and shock her fans. No doubt he’s guarding her new look zealously from the media.
