B-town is buzzing with the tale of another smacker of a smooch. Or rather smooches. This time, it’s the comely and coy gal Anushka Sharma locking her lips with the dimpled dude Shahid Kapoor for Yashraj’s next which is yet untitled.
As a source informs, the kiss is not a mere peck on the lips but a smashing smooch. Though Anushka was apprehensive and quite uncomfortable about shooting it, director Parmeet Sethi explained to her how important the kisses were for the story. Only after being convinced that the smooches will be shot aesthetically, did Anushka took the final call. And boy! She simply shed her inhibitions and gave the shot.
Later, as per sources, Anushka was heard teasing Shahid that he would soon replace Emraan Hashmi as the serial-kisser.
Shahid is indeed turning out to be a regular kisser in films. He first kissed Kareena Kapoor in Fida and then again in Jab We Met. Then it was the Kaminey smooch with Priyanka Chopra and he also canoodled with Genelia D’Souza in the just released Chance Pe Dance.
The director and production people at Yashraj are not willing to comment about the Shahid-Anushka kiss.
