Salman Khan to save beauty from the beast
The brawny Khan will get to test his muscle power against a lion

Salman Khan to save beauty from the beast
It’s a scene reminiscent of the cinema of the 80s and 90s. The heroine is attacked by a lion, and the hero wrestles the beast to save her from harm. We’ve seen the likes of Dharmendra do it on the screen. Now, Salman Khan is pulling up his socks and rolling up his sleeves to do the same for producer Vijay Galani’s film Veer which has been written by Salman himself.

Directed by Anil Sharma, the film is set in pre-Independence era and there is a scene where an English beauty (played by last year’s Miss UK Universe, Lisa Lazarus) is on a hunting trip in a jungle and is attacked by a burly lion.

Salman, who plays a warrior in the film, fights the lion and rescues Liza.

Though most of the film has been shot, this particular scene has been reserved for the end, because it is the riskiest.

It is learnt that the makers plan to shoot the scene abroad. A trained lion will be used for the shoot. Reports also say Salman is excited about matching his muscle power with the beast.
