Ram Gopal Varma has snapped work-related ties with Bollywood’s first family. After directing Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in Sarkar Raj, the director played around with the idea of completing the Sarkar trilogy by directing ‘Sarkar 3’.
He and his team of writers reportedly tried to take the story forward from ‘Sarkar Raj’ but could not come up with a convincing script. So the idea of making ‘Sarkar 3’ has been scrapped.
In fact, after the release of ‘Sarkar Raj’, even the Big B had expressed his unwillingness to be part of a third film in the series.
And after having directed each member of the Bachchan family " some of them many times " Ramu is now taking a break from the Bachchans.
“I can say that at the moment, my screen relationship with the Bachchan family is over,” he told a Mumbai tabloid.
However, the filmmaker doesn’t deny that he would work with the Bachchans “at some other stage in life.”
But, for now, it’s ‘bye bye Bachchans’ from Ramu.
