The actor denies dating anyone, including “good friend” Priyanka

Shahid Kapur is single
Rejoice, girls! Shahid Kapur says he’s single but doesn’t clarify if he’s ready to mingle. The actor has been linked with a couple of women since his break-up with Kareena Kapoor two years back.

First, it was the tennis star Sania Mirza who is now happily engaged to a businessman. Then, during the release of Kismat Konnection, he was linked with Vidya Balan. And now, with Kaminey up for release in August, rumour mills have been working overtime linking Shahid with co-star Priyanka Chopra.

But the actor maintains he’s not seeing anyone currently.

“I am single and quite happy. When I am in a relationship…people will come to know,” Shahid is quoted as saying in a media report.

About Priyanka calling him a good friend, Shahid said it ends the possibility of an affair.

“Even if I want, things won’t move forward between us because she considers me only a friend!” he joked.

However, Shahid did make a startling revelation. He admitted he had another relationship after breaking up with Bebo. But he doesn’t reveal whom he fell for, calling it a “personal” matter.

Come on Shahid! Be a sport!
