Shahrukh Khan was apparently keen to rope in Akon, the R&B star who is immensely popular in India, for a Bollywood debut in his sci-fi film ‘Ra1’. But the singer has already recorded a song with an Indian musician, and has crooned Hindi lines as well.
As a daily reports, music composer Aadesh Shrivastava becomes the first Indian artist to record a song with Akon. The song is titled ‘One For The World’, which Aadesh wants to promote as a peace song in India. In fact, his seven-year-old son Avitesh has also lent his voice to the song along with Akon.
The song recorded at Icon Studios, Atlanta, USA is composed by Aadesh, who has earlier teamed up with the ‘Lonely’ singer in some of the international stage shows.
Akon will visit India next month for the promotion of the song, reports the daily.
