For one, there are no double meaning dialogues in the film. The comedy is rather situational.
“We have tried to make a clean and entertaining film. Not even one dialogue has a double meaning, so people from all age groups can enjoy the film,” Ajay said while promoting the film in New Delhi.
The movie has Ajay and Konkona Sen Sharma playing a married couple whose life is thrown topsy-turvy with the coming of an unwelcomed guest, a distant uncle, to their house. Paresh Rawal plays the old-fashioned, dogmatic uncle who is also loving, warm and has a genuine concern for the people around him.
Ajay says that apart from entertaining audiences, the film also holds out a message.
“The film is not just comedy but says a lot of things that you will like and that will touch your heart. Along with making you laugh, it will give a message, that's the USP of the film,” he revealed.
Incidentally, all the three major actors in the movie have been National Award winners. Ajay says while there was no deliberate effort to have only National Award winners in the film, he enjoyed working with his talented co-stars.
“When you work with great actors, your own work becomes better. It's always a pleasure to work with a good actor like Konkona,” he said.
