Jessica Simpson tries bizarre beauty therapy in Mumbai

Pop sensation from Texas, Jessica Simpson tried out a bizarre beauty therapy while filming for the India episode of her new reality show ‘The Price of Beauty’ which was aired on VH1 on Monday in the US.
In the episode, shot earlier, she travelled to a swanky spa where she tried out an Ayurveda based beauty technique in which she tipped her head to one side and inserted the spout of a small teapot full of water into her nostril.
During the trip Simpson also got henna tattoos on her hands and participated in laughter yoga sessions deemed beneficial for overall health and beauty. She also observed the functioning of Operation Smile, an NGO dedicated to providing free surgery of cleft lip, cleft palate to children in developing countries. Jessica has been the International Youth Ambassador of the Organization since 2003.
On the mission, she met Meena, a 13-year-old Indian girl who suffered from a cleft lip and cleft palate, and documented Meena's journey as she underwent corrective surgery.
In the episode, Simpson was guided by actress Neha Dhupia in understanding the Indian idea of beauty.
