Ramu's next - God and Sex!
S-e-x. Just the presence of these three letters ensured a lot of publicity for director Dibakar Banerjee’s film Love Sex Aur Dhokha which was arguably the first Hindi flick to have the hitherto tabooed word in its title. Now, others are joining the queue.

The first one to step in is Ram Gopal Varma whose next film will be titled ‘God and Sex’. It will be an exposé of the lives of godmen and swamis who lead a covert sexual life, even perverted at times, beneath the veneer of spirituality.

The theme obviously seems inspired by the recent exposure of a swami running a sex racket and another swami (Nityananda) downsouth who was secretly filmed while romping with actresses who were, and probably still are, his disciples. However, Ramu says his ‘God and Sex’ is not a biopic of Nityananda, though it will certainly reveal the debauchery that goes on inside the ashrams.
