Why there has to be a dozen characters when the story is about two people falling and growing in love. So, in a path-breaking attempt, director Siddharth Anand just lets his protagonists do the work. Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor are the only two characters in the film Anjaana Anjaani.

Doesn’t it sound strange? But the movie is also about two strangers. Siddharth recently disclosed that the movie has no other character or, to say, supporting cast except the lead pair. And he was confident that the two actors would be able to carry the film on their able shoulders.

Releasing on October 1, ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ is mostly shot in the USA and brings the Priyanka-Ranbir jodi for the first time on silver screen.

For a change, we would love to see a film with no extras.
