A few days back we reported about how the Mexican actress Barbara Mori was unimpressed by Hrithik Roshan when she first saw a few videos of his on youtube before actually getting to meet him for the shooting of Kites.
To drive away her doubts and to help her know Hrithik’s acting abilities better, she was given the DVDs of Hrithik’s films Jodhaa Akbar, Lakshya, Dhoom 2 and Koi Mil Gaya. But we now learn that when Barbara saw Hrithik’s ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, she cursed her fate.
“The three long hours were unbearable. When I saw Hrithik in the film, I said to myself 'Oh My God, is he my co-star'. I felt like saying no to Rakesh Roshan and Anurag Basu,” Barbara revealed in a candid moment.
But before doing so, she decided to watch Hrithik’s other films.
“But, then I saw Lakshya and Koi Mil Gaya and I realised that he was an amazing actor. He is different in all his movies. He looks really good in Dhoom 2 but he is looking better in Kites,” she said.
‘Kites’ is set to release on May 21 and Barbara is excited to see the response the film’s international version gets throughout the world. |
