Did Sheryln Chopra go on date with Chris Gayle?

IPL third season is over and done with but saucy titbits from the tourney still keep popping up, belatedly though. The latest goss doing the round in tinsel town is that Sherlyn Chopra and cricketer Chris Gayle had something going on in the latter stages of the tournament.

We hear that on April 17 when the Kolkata Knight Riders (for whom Sherlyn cheered) defeated Rajasthan Royals, Sherlyn and Gayle (KKR opening batsman) met up at a bar after the match. The two stepped on the dance floor and sidelined everyone with their dirty dancing steps. That very night, Gayle asked her for a date. But Sherlyn played hard to get. She agreed to go on a date with the West Indian cricketer only on the condition that his team KKR beat Mumbai Indians, which seemed invincible at that time.

As luck would have it, KKR defeated MI in the next game and Gayle won the bet.

In those days Sherlyn had even tweeted: “Lost a bet. Got to go on a date. M nervous.”

In fact, Sherlyn wasn’t the only Bollywood babe who mingled intimately with cricketers. Even Payal Rohatgi, another siren, went on a dinner date with South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs.
