Take one hot director du jour, add an A-list hunk of an actor, stir in a killer script and leave to set; that’s pretty much the recipe that we might be seeing at a screen near you very soon.

Vishal Bharadwaj is looking ahead, beyond Kaminey and who else would catch his eye but our very own Akshay Kumar. It’s true that the two recently met over a script and Akki has high praise for the talented director saying, “I’d love to work with him. His films are so real yet so entertaining. 'Kaminey' is looking good.”

According to sources, Akshay liked Vishal’s script (who wouldn’t?) and now we just await official confirmation that the two will take the plunge. Right now, Vishal has finished ‘Kaminey’ and is busy promoting it whilst Akshay is in London for the shooting of his new film ‘Houseful’.

In London, the actor took time off his heavy schedule to catch the recent Bollywood blockbuster Love Aaj Kal. After seeing the film, he was not only impressed by the performances of both Saif and Deepika but now wants to work with Imtiaz Ali too. Is Akshay collecting directors?

Coincidentally, Akshay and Deepika Padukone are co-starring in ‘Houseful’.
