John lights up Bipasha's home!

The poetic expression “lighting up your loved one’s world” is fine, but John Abraham did it literally for Bipasha Basu. By now, half of the tinsel town knows about Bipasha’s new dream home in Khar which has been getting ready for months.

On the day of griha pravesh on July 29, Bipasha was left spellbound by a blinding surprise from her beau John, who, interestingly, wasn’t even in the city. She was stumped to find her new home lit with chandeliers that were gifted to her by John.

Reportedly, Bipasha had been taking keen interest in the interior decoration of her home and had been selecting various chandeliers and light fixtures from Italy and Spain. Once she had finalized all the items, John did something she hadn’t anticipated.

He got in touch with interior designer Ahsan who was working on Bips’ home. John paid all the necessary bills and bought in the selected chandeliers and light fixtures from Europe to be fitted into Bipasha’s home before the griha pravesh.

When Bipasha entered her new house she was left speechless after seeing it all lit up.

“I was surprised totally. I am so excited with my gift,” Bipasha tells a Mumbai tabloid.

John was personally not there at the occasion because he was shooting Abbas Tyrewala’s film ‘1-800 Love’ in London. Now, Bipasha has flown to London to be with John for sometime before flying further to the US for a special function on the occasion of India’s Independence Day.
