Two thieves find shelter in a place that’s not so safe. A village belle plays her charms on them, excites them, tempts them into love, and one day the duo find themselves digging their own graves.

Vishal Bhardwaj's production Ishqiya stars Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan. The story of the film revolves around three principal characters - an aged uncle, his young nephew and a scheming woman who takes the duo for a ride.

Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi play the uncle-nephew duo. Vidya plays the con-woman who plays subtle mind games with the two.

Vidya, who has played goody-goody roles in previous flicks, is set to show her comic flair, and has gone in for an image makeover in ‘Ishqiya’. She will be seen mouthing several cuss words.

The movie is directed by Bhardwaj's assistant Abhishek Choubey.
