Fan barges into Rambha's house
He wanted to personally present her a gold ring

His pocket may not have permitted it, but a crazy fan of south actress Rambha bought a gold ring and went to the actress’s house in Saligramam on Friday night to personally hand over the gift to her.

The fan managed to get past the first security guard after telling him that he was a courier boy and had a parcel for the actress. Once inside the house, he was stopped by the second guard who asked him to hand over the parcel to him. But the fan insisted on seeing Rambha and handing over the parcel to her personally. When his request was refused, he reportedly created a scene in the house.

Rambha’s brother Vasu tried to get the situation under control, but when the man continued to be unruly, police was called.

The police arrested the fan. It was found that his name is G. Venkatesan and works in a pharmacy. He’s 28 years old and he admitted to be an ardent fan of Rambha. Reports say he also revealed that he had bought the gold ring for Rs. 8,000 and wanted to give it personally to the actress as her birthday gift.

Later, Rambha and her brother called up the police and told them they had pardoned Venkatesan. The police, however, still took a written statement from him that he won’t disturb the actress in future before releasing him.

Just a few days back, Asin had got a similar gift, a solitaire, with a marriage proposal from a fan. While Sneha had got arrested a fan who had been harassing her on the phone.
