'Slumdog' kids to act with Anthony Hopkins
Rubina and Azhar set for their next big project

Hollywood’s calling Rubina Ali and Azhar Ismail, the two child stars of Slumdog Millionaire. After walking the red carpet at Kodak Theatre for the Oscars earlier this year, the two child stars are now set to act with none other than Sir Anthony Hopkins in a Hollywood movie.

According to Sun online, Rubina and Azhar have been signed up to star in a new film ‘Lord Owen's Lady’. If true it could give a big boost to the fledgling careers of the two kids who were plucked from poverty and shot to international fame with the multiple Oscar winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.

Rubina Ali, 9, and Azhar Ismail, 10, will star alongside the ‘Hannibal’ actor in the film about a Welsh nobleman who falls in love with an Indian girl.

Producers of the film, which will be shot in Wales and India, are in talks with Hopkins to play Lord Owen's father.

The news comes just days after Ismail's father died of tuberculosis in India.

Executive producer Martin Pennell has offered his condolences to the youngster and hopes the tragedy won't hinder his blossoming Hollywood career.
