It’s the lull after the storm. Last Friday, there were five releases and once again all failed to allure the masses. It’s Ramazan time and the business in Bollywood is expectedly suffering. The only respite is that Kaminey is still going strong at the box office with Rs 4.50 crore business last week, while the movie has recorded approximately Rs 38.75 crore in the last three weeks.
The collection of the movies released on 28th August, Daddy Cool and Kissan, picked up a bit with the passing week, but they were still dull as they collected a meager Rs 3.50 crore and Rs 1.50 crore approx, respectively.
Quick Gun Murugun couldn’t impress Hindi audience with its cheeky one-liners, but its English and Tamil versions did a bit better at multiplexes over the week.
