It was a happy coincidence for Rani Mukherjee to see Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan, two people very close to her, visit the sets of her movie Dil Bole Hadippa on the very first day of the shooting in Yashraj Studios. Coincidentally, SRK was shooting for his film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi while Aamir was shooting an advertisement at the same studio.

When the word spread that Rani was dressed as a man to shoot a song titled ‘Bhangra Bistar’ with Rakhi Sawant, the two Khans couldn’t resist visiting the sets of ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ and see Rani for themselves.

“It was really sweet because Aamir and SRK are two very special people in my life and I see their presence on the set on the first day of the shoot as a happy coincidence,” Rani told a news agency.

The two stars not just watched the shoot, but gave tips to Rani. Aamir, for instance, told her how to put on a fake moustache.

“Aamir helped me with the moustache... I was shooting a song with Rakhi before I had the moustache on and he gave me tips on how I should put it with a little smile so that it doesn't hurt,” Rani said.

But the most valuable tips came from SRK, who guided Rani on how to wield a cricket bat and showed her some batting moves. In the movie, Rani plays a cricket-crazy Punjabi girl who disguises herself as a boy to play cricket in an all-boys’ team.

“Shah Rukh gave me a lot of tips on cricket and I was very happy to have him give me tips for my character in the movie,” said Rani.

Rani has worked with SRK in a number of films. She was last seen with him in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. On the other hand, Rani has worked with Aamir in Ghulam and Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey, The.

‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ releases this Friday. Rani and her co-star Shahid Kapoor have been promoting the film in various cities. The actress also flew to Toronto for the special world premiere of the film at the Toronto International Film Festival.
