Rahul Mahajan wants a bold and beautiful <i>dulhaniya</i>
Dhan tanaa!! Rahul Mahajan’s quest for a bride is going to start soon on TV. Following the trend set by Rakhi Sawant, the Mahajan boy is sure to find his ladylove through national television. He wants a bride who is “bold” and “beautiful”.

Speaking about this marital adventure on television, Rahul is quoted as saying: “As in the reach (the television) is so much better. It’s 90 million homes! There are better chances of finding the right woman.”

However, a lot depends on Rahul’s astrologer who has predicted that he will get married by 2010. He is the man Rahul trusts blindly, “I have full faith in him; he will check all the kundalis of the short-listed applicants.”

Excited by the idea of finding his dulhaniya, the dreamer in Rahul has already started making honeymoon plans. But he also understands the gravity of matrimony. According to him, the reality of a marriage sets in only after the honeymoon is over.

Rahul is pretty clear about the qualities he’s looking for in his bride. “She will have to be bold and beautiful; her heart will have to be kind, as soft as a rose. She’ll have to be intelligent,” he is quoted to have said.

Going by his criteria, Payal Rohatgi is “bold” and we can say Monica Bedi is “beautiful”. If Payal is cool about Rahul’s new journey, Monica has wished him luck. And this pretty much assures that both are not going to be part of the dramatic show, which is tentatively named ‘Rahul Dulhania Le Jaayenge’.
