It would sound stupid if I ask you what to expect from an Emraan Hashmi film besides the kiss. Yes you guessed it right, it’s the great music and Tum Mile is no exception. Vowed to a tradition for delivering an incredible musical score everytime, Bhatts have once again teamed up with Pritam and lyricist Kumaar.

So the deadly combo is back with Tum Mile directed by Kunal Deshmukh, that also stars Soha Ali Khan. So are you ready to get drenched in the music of Tum Mile’s nine tracks?

The title track Tum Mile has three astounding versions - Tum Mile sung by Neeraj Sridhar, Tum Mile (Reprise) crooned by Javed Ali and Tum Mile (Rock) by Shafqat Amanat Ali and Pritam has earned brownie points for all the three numbers because in spite of all three songs having the same tune the treatment of the three tracks is different and each version has a distinctive feel. If Neeraj’s version is more pop, Javed’s one is a love ballad whereas the third one rocks with soft rock music.

Love melody is running its course with the track Dil Ibaddat and you continue to be in the company of Pritam’s music - lost and brooding. Sung by KK, this track also mesmerizes you and the rock version intensifies your feelings once again.

The Pritam of ‘Jannat’ is capable of giving a hit like Tu Hi Haqeeqat. The lovelorn’s song reaches to your heart with its simple music that starts like a rock number but soon changes it tone with sufi music. In the vocals of Javed this song can be every lover’s anthem.

After a bit sad and passionate tracks, album has Is Jahaan Mein for us. Mohit Chauhan gets to render this song with his unique voice and style. Next is O Meri Jaan which doesn’t have really much to offer in terms of music as it sounds like a typical Pritam number.

Instrumental piece, Soul Of Tum Mile is a fast track with foreboding effect and it perfectly expresses the agony, the trauma related to the film with no words.

So, once again we are not disappointed. Kudos to Pritam, because with every album he shows he is a man with immense caliber, creating soulful tunes and when it comes to Bhatt gang, they can never go off beam in terms of experimenting with music, whether it was ‘Aashiqui’ in 90s or musical hits like Awarapan and Jannat in today’s time.

In a period when Bollywood music is about fast disc numbers and unforgettable tunes, the music of ‘Tum Mile’ shows how soothing melody can be. The music of the album will linger on.
