|She doesn’t know Hindi. All she can manage is just a few words like namaste and dhanyavaad. Yet German bombshell Claudia Ciesla has taken on the challenge to contest in the ‘Bigg Boss 3’ reality TV show. Through the show she hopes to become popular among Indian tele viewers and use her fame as the springboard for hopping onto the Bollywood bandwagon.
“I think this will be a good platform for me as it will help me in boosting my popularity among the Indian audience. I want to do good Indian films and I am seriously thinking about Bollywood - but all that after 'Bigg Boss',” Claudia told a news agency before checking into Bigg Boss’s house.
She has so far acted in Indian film ‘Karma: Crime, Passion, Reincarnation’ and has been the face of the ethnic Indian wear for a fashion designer. Though she’s fluent in English, Claudia hopes her stay in Bigg Boss’s house will help her get a hang of Hindi as well.
“I know I don't speak Hindi as of now, but hopefully my 'Bigg Boss' inmates will teach me and I might catch up on the language in a few months,” she is quoted to have said.
The show marks Claudia’s debut appearance on Indian television and the gal’s not nervous at all.
“I'm not at all nervous because nobody knows what's going to happen inside so I can only hope that I have a wonderful time with all the celebrities,” she added.
The other celebs in the house are Sherlyn Chopra, Shamita Shetty, Poonam Dhillon, Raju Shrivastava, Aditi Govitrikar, Vindhoo Dara Singh, Tanaaz and Bakhtiyar Irani, Ismail Darbar, Rohit Verma, Kamal Khan and Jaya Sawant (Rakhi Sawant’s mom)
Given such an interesting bunch of inmates, there surely are going to be catfights, ego tussles and flirting. But Claudia isn’t looking for picking fights with anyone.
“I'm not going to make fight with anyone. I am here to make friends and know more people in India - so I will try to make it all very cordial,” she said.
When asked what she will miss the most in Bigg Boss’s house, Claudia didn’t wink before replying: “My mobile! I am so addicted to it.”
Well, who’s not!
