Friends can be lovers; but lovers, after breaking up, seldom remain friends. Such is the case with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor as well. The duo parted without dragging their dirty linen in public, but hasn’t been on friendly terms jabse they split.

No doubt such a thandi equation between the two have been a hurdle in the completion of their old, pending film Milenge Milenge by producer Boney Kapoor and director Satish Kaushik.

Though the two actors have completed the dubbing of their parts, they are unwilling to shoot together for two new songs which Himesh Reshammiya has composed for the film.

The idea of adding the songs to the film was to give it a fresh look. But Bebo, it is learnt, is turning out to be a spanner in the works. She is not willing to shoot anymore for the film and certainly not with Shahid, whom she advised (through media a few months back) to “move on”. In fact, Shahid himself isn’t very keen to shoot with Bebo.

So director Kaushik and producer Kapoor have decided to use the old footage for the two songs, one of which would be used for promotional purpose. Because Shahid and Kareena nahin milenge.
