Never perhaps had so many film stars walked the ramp in a fashion show. Everyone from Aamir Khan to Ajay Devgan was decked up in ‘Being Human’ clothes for the charity show at the ongoing HDIL India Couture Week in Mumbai on late Tuesday.
Katrina Kaif left the shooting of Prakash Jha’s film Rajneeti mid-way in Bhopal to walk the ramp for her beau. She wore a gown with a print of one of Salman’s famous paintings. Interestingly, designer duo Shane and Falguni took Katrina’s measurements on the morning of Tuesday and by the evening the gown was ready.
It was a black and skin-coloured loose gown with the painting of a saint. Katrina looked absolutely breathtaking walking in it on the runway.
Aamir Khan also donned a ‘Being Human’ T-shirt with the Sallu-painted face of Christ printed on it. Among the others who walked the ramp were Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Govinda, Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt.
Salman Khan also walked the ramp. Preity Zinta, who was seated in the front row cheered on loudly as Sallu stepped on the catwalk.
“I was so happy that all this shouting and cheering just happened. The show was all about being human and being together,” Preity is quoted as saying by a news agency.
Also seated in the first row were Malaika Arora, Farah Khan, Amrita Arora, Twinkle Khanna, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Amisha Patel, Manish Malhotra, and Salman's mothers Salma and Helen, who also came on the ramp later on.
