Shilpa Shetty getting engaged to Raj Kundra
Wedding to follow within months

At last, actress Shilpa Shetty and her London-based boyfriend Raj Kundra have decided to solemnize their relationship with a formal engagement that will reportedly take place on Saturday, October 24, at her Juhu apartment in Mumbai.

According to Shilpa’s spokesperson, the engagement will be a “very private affair” to be attended by “immediate family members” of both Shilpa and Raj. Though the buzz is that the wedding would follow in December this year, the spokesperson refused to comment on it.

On her engagement day, Shilpa will wear a pink chiffon sari and a dull gold-coloured blouse designed by Manish Malhotra, who is also a very good friend of the actress. Shilpa will wear exquisite jewellery designed by a store in Bandra.

Says a source: “There won’t be any lavish party, but Shilpa will be wearing a dazzling sari and jewellery. She’s taking personal interest in her look for the special day.”

Close relatives of both Shilpa and Raj have reportedly begun arriving in the city. Interestingly, Shilpa’s younger sister Shamita Shetty won’t be able to attend the engagement as she’s locked in Bigg Boss’s house. In fact, Shamita won’t even be able to know that Shilpa has got engaged to Raj until she comes out of the house.

The buzz is that Shilpa and Raj could tie the knot as soon as December this year and follow it up with a grand reception in London.
