The new girl who is creating ripples in the film circuit is Shatrughan Sinha’s young daughter, Sonakshi Sinha. The pretty lass is all set to start her acting career with film Dabangg, where she will be seen opposite none other than Salman Khan.

But it was no cakewalk for this star-kid. When Sallu saw her in a fashion show, he told her to lose 10 kilos and that was the day when Sonkashi decided to change herself. The girl lost 30 kilos with no fasting, and worked rigorously on her body. It took her 2 long years and of course, strong determination to be in great shape.

Sonakshi is quoted as saying about her hero Salman: “Our fondness for each other is mutual! He saw potential in me and egged me on to lose weight. I would say his contribution was the highest as I started taking it seriously only after he told me to.”

She will play a village girl in the movie, who is dabangg, meaning fearless. Sonakshi has started rehearsing for her role. Papa Shotgun has no objections for her doing films, as long as she maintains the dignity of her family.

The film will roll from November 6 and will be directed by Abhinav Sinha.
