Grand Finale
On the final day of WIFW week, the ramp dazzled with a homage to India’s golden era as Rohit Bal presented his ‘Yasas’ collection with Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor as showstoppers. ‘Yasas’ means grand in Sanskrit and just like its name; the collection was splendid and opulent with gold and cream ruling the roost.

Gudda is known as a designer magician who weaves fabric with fantasy for his dresses. Being a key player in the fashion industry, he was the obvious choice as the grand finale designer for FDCI. Rohit says, “The collection is a reflection of incredible talent that we have in India in terms of artisans and craftsmanship. The line is an ode to India’s rich heritage.”

So while Katrina was wearing a short evening dress with extensive thread work at the bottom, Ranbir donned a cream coloured sherwani with flower motifs. The show also gave them the chance to promote their next release, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
